My Roots

Carolyn is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietitian Nutritionist, and Certified Lactation Counselor.

As a mother, Carolyn understands the importance of breast feeding, how it provides the best start for infants and offers free support to those in need.

Carolyn is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her dietetic internship and Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at SUNY Oneonta.

Giving back from her amazing studies and professors, Carolyn also teaches nutrition at Morrisville State College and hosts dietetic and diet technician interns.

Her passion is community nutrition and food. She focuses on integrative and functional medicine, how foods heal the body.

Growing up and living in the stunning upstate countryside, Carolyn enjoys playing in her flower and vegetable gardens and showing her daughters how delicious, home grown food, soil under your nails and sun on your skin keeps you healthy, beautiful and young.
